A layered grey shell in dry brush, torn open on one side, empty.

Wasps make real paper from chewed wood and saliva. When cold comes the entire colony dies except a single fertilized queen, who leaves to winter alone somewhere else. She never comes back. No wasp reuses a nest.

Care instructions

- Dust gently with a dry cloth. For a mark that will not lift, a barely damp cloth, then dry.
