No. Every artwork is a photograph I took. I adjust exposure, contrast, and color the way any photographer does. Nothing is added and nothing is removed.

Two things are not photographs, and I would rather say so than have you wonder. The room images on product pages are generated to show scale — the print in them is the real photograph, the room is not. Some illustrations in the Journal are generated too. The artwork never is.

Plenty of people photograph those well. I am after what is on the ground, on the bark, and under the rocks — the parts that show what it took to still be there.

Metal, canvas, and archival paper. Metal is bright, hard-edged, and holds fine texture — it suits the rock and bark work. Canvas is matte and quiet, with no glare. Archival paper is the traditional fine-art option and the one to frame.

Each piece is printed when you order it, by production partners in the United States. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is overproduced. It adds a few days to delivery, and I would rather have that than a closet of unsold inventory.

Ask. Some images have the resolution for it and some do not, and I will tell you which.

Close, not exact. Every screen renders color differently, and a print reflects light instead of emitting it. Slight size tolerances are normal in production too. Neither counts as a defect — but if a piece arrives looking wrong to you, tell me.

Nothing, on any U.S. order. It is built into the price of the work rather than added at checkout, so what you see on the product page is what you pay.

Nothing is pre-made. Most orders arrive within a week, though a large canvas can take up to two. You will get tracking by email as soon as it ships.

Not always. Metal is made in one place and canvas and paper in another, so an order that mixes them will arrive separately, often on different days. You are not charged extra for that.

Not currently. United States only. If you are outside the U.S. and want something, email me and I will tell you honestly whether it can be done and what it would cost.

I will replace it, at no cost to you. Email me within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of both the piece and the packaging. You do not need to send anything back unless I ask. This covers damage in transit, printing defects, the wrong size, and the wrong image. That is on me, not on you.

I cannot take it back. Each piece is made for your order, so there is nothing to restock it into. Size is the most common regret and the easiest one to avoid — if you are unsure, message me before you buy and I will help you get it right the first time.

If you need to cancel, production usually starts within a few hours. Email immediately and I will stop it if I can. Once it is in production, I cannot.

Metal wipes clean with a soft damp cloth, and a non-abrasive, non-ammonia cleaner for spot cleaning. Canvas takes a dry cloth, nothing wet. Paper should be framed behind glass. Keep all three out of direct sun, like any print.

Yes. Offices, clinics, restaurants, lodges, and short-term rentals. Larger sizes, multiples of one image, or a grouped series for a wall or hallway. Tell me the space and I will put something together.

Buying a print does not include reproduction rights. Hanging it in your business is display, and that is fine. Photographing it for a website, menu, packaging, or advertisement is reproduction, and that is a separate license. Email me and tell me what you have in mind.
