Pinedrops have no chlorophyll and cannot feed themselves. They tap a fungus that is already trading nutrients with a pine’s roots and take the sugar the tree made. The stalk grows for a single season; what is left of it can stand for years afterward.

Care instructions

- Dust gently with a dry cloth. For a mark that will not lift, a barely damp cloth, then dry.
